Over the last few weeks, I’ve noticed a big change in my car.

The weather has been getting warmer, but the AC in the car doesn’t seem to keep up with the demand.

I drive 31 miles each day to work and back. I rarely use the AC much in the morning, but I have it on full blast every day on my way home from work. Over the last couple of weeks, the AC hasn’t worked well at all. I’ve had to keep the system on maximum cool in order to maintain comfortable temperature levels inside of the car. When the car dealership had a special on services and repairs, I took the car to the dealership for a free AC check up. I knew the AC was going to cost a fortune to repair, but I didn’t expect the bad news that I heard. The mechanic felt that the AC compressor and motor were going bad and this was going to be a $1,300 repair. I was worried that the AC repairs would cost $300 or $400, and I never expected to hear an amount over $1,000. I was devastated when the mechanic gave me the paperwork. If I was alone, I might have cried. I told the guy that I would call later that week to schedule the AC repair service, but there’s absolutely no way that I can afford to pay for the service. I’ll have to keep babying the AC until the machine finally quits. Hopefully I’ll have some money saved by the time it officially stops working.

A few years ago, my girlfriend and I decided to rent a beach house for an entire month.

• I love surfing and spending all day at the beach and both of us work from our home.

We thought it was perfect to rent a beach house, because we still had the opportunity to work while enjoying all of the activities that we love. We looked at several different condos and houses, before we stumbled across the perfect property. My girlfriend and I loved the balcony off the bedroom with the wonderful view of the ocean. There was room in the driveway for both of our cars and our boat. The house seemed perfect, other than the fact that it was a little above our price range. We decided to splurge and we made the reservations Tuesday during the month of June. As soon as my girlfriend and I arrived, we realized that the online pictures were several years old. The house didn’t look as fresh and new as the online photographs. The paint was peeling outside and the flooring in the house needed to be updated. The condition of the house wasn’t the biggest problem. The biggest issue for us was the fact that the house didn’t have Central AC. The ad clearly stated that the house had Central AC. After we moved to the house, we even double-checked the advertisement. My girlfriend and I called the owner of the house and he tried to argue that the ductless AC units were the same thing. He wouldn’t refund any of our money, even though we were unhappy.

About 20 years ago, my family and I moved to the West Coast to start a new life.

We settled in the desert area, where heat is an everyday problem.

Twenty years ago, the daily high temperatures weren’t nearly as high as they are these days. It is very clear that global warming is playing a huge part in making this earth warmer. When we moved to the coast, the average daily summer temp was 100 degrees, and now it is close to 110 degrees. No matter what you do during the summer months, it is virtually impossible to keep the house cool. We have a central AC unit that works overtime and we also have two ductless AC units in the master bedroom and the living room. Both of us are thankful for solar energy, because our energy bills would be through the roof if we didn’t have solar panels. Even with 2 ductless AC units and the central AC running, there are still days when the temperatures are too hot. Just last week, it was 114 degrees and none of the AC units would run. The central system was frozen and we didn’t want to ruin the ductless AC units by trying to overwork them. Instead, we shut off all of the machines and left the house for the day. Believe it or not, it was actually cooler outside than it was in the house without the air conditioner. When my wife and I moved to this neighborhood 20 years ago, we never thought the heat would cause us to question the decision.

A couple of months ago, my wife and I were on our way home from a long road trip.

We were very tired, so we decided to stop at a hotel for the night. We were on the interstate and we didn’t want to travel far, so we picked one of the national chains. There was one person on duty at the front desk and he looked to be in his early twenties. I gave the guy all of my information including my name, address, telephone number, and license plate number. He gave my wife and I the key for room 308. My wife and I gathered a bag from the car so we could take a shower and we took the stairs to the third floor. None of the lights were on in the room one way open to the door. When we turned on the lights, I quickly noticed that the room had not been cleaned. The bed wasn’t made and the bathroom had towels on the floor. It actually looks like someone might have been staying in the room. We closed the door and walked back down to the front desk. The staff member apologized for the confusion and gave us the key to a different room. This room was clean and empty and the AC was already running. It was very cool and comfortable in the room. In fact, it was so cold that we had to adjust the temperature on the AC before we went to sleep. Even in the middle of the night, the AC kept getting colder and colder. By morning, both of us were cuddled up in the single blanket on the bed.

The indoor air quality wasn’t ideal for relaxing and I wanted a restful and peaceful night

My girlfriend went out of town for work last weekend, and I was forced to spend the weekend alone. I always hang out with my girlfriend, so I didn’t have anyone to call. I decided to go down to the pier for a couple of hours. There was a new seafood place that I wanted to try. My girlfriend doesn’t love seafood, so we rarely go to the pier to eat dinner. I took an Uber so I could drink a few beers without worrying about getting home. I walked to the end of the first row of shops and I found the seafood restaurant that my coworker has been raving about. The place was packed with people and the only seating was at the bar. I wanted a table, but I decided to have a seat next to a couple of kids who looked like they were on a first date. The air in the place was stagnant and warm, and I didn’t feel any AC. I asked the bartender for a cold beer. I surveyed the room and I didn’t see any AC air vents at all. I started to think the place didn’t have any AC. I drank the beer and it was warm before I was done. I decided not to stay and eat. The indoor air quality wasn’t ideal for relaxing and I wanted a restful and peaceful night. I went to another local hangout and actually saw a couple of guys from work. We drank beers for a couple of hours and I had a pretty fun evening.

The laundry room in my house is across the hall from the kitchen.

The room has a door to the garage and a door that leads to the rest of the house.

I have six kids at home and I am constantly doing laundry. Everyday I work on three or four loads of clothes so the pile never gets enormous. When the washer and dryer are running all day, the climate in the laundry room and the kitchen is muggy, humid, and hot. I had an exhaust fan in the laundry room to help with the heat and the moisture, but it stopped working last year and my hubby never fixed it. I have been hounding him every weekend since summer started to fix the fan, because it’s really affecting the indoor air quality and I think the problem is causing the AC to run more frequently. That won’t be good for our electric bills this summer. I looked up the parts for the exhaust fan online last week and I found out that it only cost seventeen bucks for the replacement parts. I begged my hubby to complete the repair or call someone for me. He had plans to go golfing with some friends, so he called an HVAC repair service to complete the work. He paid almost $150 for someone else to replace the parts on the exhaust fan so he didn’t have to miss his tee time. There might be more problems in this house than the exhaust fan. I don’t think home repairs should take a back seat to golf.

AC problems never occur when the weather is chilly and brisk.

• They happen when the outdoor temperatures are 95 degrees and the humidity is close to 100%.

The AC in my truck stopped working last weekend when I was on my way home from work. It was working fine one minute and blowing warm air the next. I stopped at the gas station to get candy, chips, and cold soda pop. I turned off the truck for five or ten minutes. When I turned the truck back on, the AC was blowing warm air. I checked the relays and the fuses and I even tried to replace the fan motor. Nothing solved the problem, so I took the truck to the dealership for a diagnostic check. They perform free AC checks during the summer, because they want you to pay them hundreds or thousands of dollars to replace the system. I don’t have the money to replace the air compressor which is the reason why my AC isn’t blowing cold air. For now, I’m stuck driving back and forth to work in a Chevy with no AC. I’m certainly not looking forward to the rest of the summer. I hope my boss will offer some overtime this month so I can start saving for the repairs. The guy offered overtime last month, but I had plans with my girlfriend. Thinking back, I probably should have worked that weekend. I didn’t know the AC would be a problem at the time, but I shouldn’t have given up the opportunity to make more money.

I was having a lot of problems with the furnace in my house and I went to the hardware store to find some parts to fix the issue.

I was certain that the flame sensor was the problem, but I replaced it and I was still having problems getting the furnace to light.

I came out of the hardware store with a bag of supplies and Iwas ready to tackle the problem a second time. The flashy green writing on the side of a white van caught my eye. The van belonged to a heating and AC repair company. The van was sitting there like a giant advertisement for help. I didn’t think it would hurt to contact the number on the side of the van to see how much the company charged for a troubleshooting call. When I told the person on the phone that I saw their company van at the hardware store, I found out that I was talking to the driver of that vehicle. Each heating and AC repair technician has their individual phone number on the side of the contractor vehicle. The guy came outside and talked to me for a few minutes. He offered me a couple of free troubleshooting tips and he gave me his card just in case I still needed help. I went home determined to fix the furnace on my own, but I still couldn’t remedy the problem without help. I called the guy from the hardware store and scheduled a service appointment for the next morning. It was time for a professional to end my suffering.

In the last 20 years it seems that smoking has been banned across the country in public sites. I remember a time when you could smoke anywhere. How times have changed! I used to be a smoker myself, plus when this first happened I was angry as ever. But now that I do not smoke anymore, I see the importance of this, plus it is to save the air quality. When you have people smoking all over the site, even outdoors within a particular area, it kills the local air quality after a while. So believe me, I understand now. I easily would not want my house filled with smoke as that would damage the air quality, however even when I used to smoke I never smoked in my house. And again, it was because I wanted to retain half way superb air quality. Sure it was on my clothing, however that only partially harmed the air quality. I eventually ended up buying a few portable whole-house air purifiers when I stopped smoking to clean the air quality of all the smoke that got in through my clothing. And let me tell you, the portable whole-house air purifiers that I used really did the trick! I still use one of the portable whole-house air purifiers from time to time when the air quality outside isn’t doing to well. It helps keep my air quality at bay. If you quit smoking recently, I would recommend getting a few portable whole-house air purifiers to clean that air quality.

A friend of mine had been going on plus on about me getting an electric fireplace for my home.

He kept saying that it would really compliment it well.

I was not so sure about this as first off, I didn’t believe spending that kind of money on an electric fireplace was needed since I had perfectly working central heating with an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan that had a really good SEER rating. The SEER rating was what is most important when selecting a heating plus a/c plan for your home. The higher the SEER rating, the more energy efficient that it is. But with my friend non stop harping on me about getting an electric fireplace, I looked into it more plus did some research on it. And I decided that maybe it would be a good thing, then not so much for the heating, however for the fact that it creates a good atmosphere. So I went ahead plus made the giant purchase plus got my easily own electric fireplace for my home. And I have to tell you that I am so blissful that my friend talked me into getting one of these electric fireplaces. It makes unbelievable after a long hard day at labor in the Wintertide time so much more enjoyable. Not to mention, when the holidays come, this will be a good thing to have around the house to enhance the holiday spirit since I do not have nor would I ever invest in a real authentic type fireplace. Most of the time, people regret being talked into making giant purchases. But, I am super cheerful that I went ahead plus did this!
