There is a second, filthy, air filter
Lately our a/c has not been working right. I can hear it turn on however very little cool air gets into the house. After dealing with this for a few days I finally decided to call up an Heating plus Air Conditioning business. After all, it is only going to get warmer. I don’t want to over work the a/c either. That will reflect badly when my electric bill arrives. The Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation came out a few days later plus took a look at our system. I felt offended when the foreman said that it sounded like my friend and I might be dealing with a dirty air filter. I change my Heating plus Air Conditioning air filter every 2 months. Periodically it is still almost pure white but I change it anyway. But then the Heating plus Air Conditioning professionals opened up my air intake vent cover plus found the problem. Sure enough, it was the air filter. Only, it wasn’t my air filter. Someone must have put an air filter in the wrong venue before my friend and I moved in. My great friend and I moved in over 4 years ago. So there was a lot of nasty dirt plus dust all built up on this air filter, no wonder the air filter I change is frequently clean. Everything gets trapped on this dirty, nasty, outdated air filter. Once the outdated air filter was removed our a/c started working great again. The Heating plus Air Conditioning professionals maintained the unit plus everything. Hopefully running the a/c with a clogged up air filter didn’t cause any long term disfigurement. I hate to believe that my family has been breathing air that’s passed through such filth too. It is certainly disgusting.
