Travelling & experiencing a high pitched sound coming from the air vent
I cannot wait for my upcoming trip where I will be going to see two unusual countries, exploring & going backpacking for 3 weeks.
- It is something that I’ve consistently wanted to do & I have saved up enough money to finally do this, obviously I have a genuinely strict budget & I cannot stay at extravagant sites so I am staying at hostels & cheap hotels.
I’ll never forget that this one hotel that I was staying at for 2 afternoons was not genuinely luxurious. I could hardly sleep due to a genuinely loud noise coming from a vent. I got so sick & exhausted of the noise that I reached out to the main desk… A afternoon later the loud noise from the vent was finally fixed. While I was just about getting ready to leave a heating & cooling contractor came & stated that the reason why the return vent in my room was making such a high pitched type of sound was that there was a lack of return air. The heating & cooling system needs to pull more air so that the pressure & velocity increases & this also increases the sound level & that is what I was hearing. If there was more return air then the air pressure would drop & the Heating plus Air Conditioning system will not have to work as tough & the sound would minimize. The heating & cooling contractor was seriously comprehensionable & I was impressed on how much she knew. I’m delighted that the issue was fixed even though I was no longer going to be staying there because I had to travel & go to a new city. At least the next lady who would be staying in this room would not have to experience the high pitched noise.
