Dad had heated floors installed
I remember how fascinated I was when the HVAC tech came to our house to install the heated floors.
I was skeptical when I heard that my dad intended to put heated floors in our house. I couldn’t see why we needed something like that when we already had a great heating system in place, plus I like to walk on the cool floors. But as the cold winter months came and the temperature started to drop, I saw the importance of the heated floors and my dad surprised me. I started to realize during the winter I wanted the floors warm and walking around the house with warm floors under my feet felt so nice and soothing. I forgot about winter and how much I hated taking that first step out of bed on the floors because they were so cold. Now, they are warm and it’s a feeling that I can enjoy, although getting out of bed in the morning no matter what isn’t something I like doing. But it wasn’t just the warmth of the floors that made me happy. My dad has gone out of his way to make the house more pleasant for all of us. I remember how fascinated I was when the HVAC tech came to our house to install the heated floors. How dedicated he was to making sure that everything my dad envisioned was exactly what he wanted for all of us. I’m sure this is just another day for the HVAC expert, but to us, this was a big step. Even though at the time I didn’t really care for the heated floors, I’m just excited now that they were installed and the winter months getting out of bed is far better now than before.
