I shouldn’t have done it
I shouldn’t have done it, but the other day when the HVAC technician tripped on the dog, I ended up laughing about it.
He was at the house to work on the electric furnace down in the basement.
I have been having a lot of issues with the electric furnace lately because even though the heating system would turn on correctly and run like it was supposed to, the house just wouldn’t start heating up the right way. It was pretty annoying to me since the temperature outside had been getting much colder. The problem was that the outside temperature was getting colder and colder, but the temperature inside the house wasn’t heating up at all. Anyway, it was really cold inside of the house and we finally gave up and called our local heating and cooling company to make an appointment. He was a nice enough guy and he seemed to know what he was doing. He got the furnace fixed fairly quickly, but he spent most of the time playing with our dog. Our dog could not get enough of the HVAC technician. I think that the dog thought that the HVAC technician was his new best friend or something. Anyway, they played and had a great time up until it was time for the HVAC technician to leave. He was gathering up all of his tools and trying to load everything into the HVAC truck but the dog was still just trying to play with him. He ended up tripping right over the dog and falling backwards into the snow.
