I can’t believe that this lady laughed at me
I work as an HVAC technician, and sometimes I end up getting too caught up in my work.
The other day I was thinking really hard about this oil furnace issue that I was working on at this lady’s house and I ended up tripping over her dog and falling flat on my face on her floor.
It was so embarrassing to me, but the lady just laughed. I can’t believe that she actually laughed at me when I fell over her dog, either! You would think that she would have at least asked me if I was okay before she started to laugh at me. I mean, I know it was probably funny to see the great big tall HVAC technician trip over the dog and fall into the snow, but I still think that she should have checked on me first! I think that it was just a good thing that I didn’t get injured or anything. I really did like her dog and we had a good time playing while I was working on the furnace. However, I think that when I was finishing up and getting ready to load up all my tools into the back of the HVAC van, she should have shut him up inside of the house. Instead, she just let him run around all over the place like crazy. That’s how I ended up tripping over her and falling down in the snow. He was all excited when I was walking back and forth to the HVAC truck. I think that he thought he was going for a ride in the HVAC truck with me.
