I called the number listed on the card.

I was trying to get some help last week, when my oil furnace started to make some genuinely weird noises. I rummaged through a few junk drawers before I could find the Heating and Air Conditioning corporate company card. I must have found a 100 company cards before I found the right 1. I wished that I had found the newer card after calling the number three times and getting the same response. Every time I called it, I got a recorded message that said that the number was no longer in service. I cursed the Heating and Air Conditioning guy for not telling me they had closed. Then I began cursing because I thought they might have changed their cellphone number. I couldn’t figure out what had happened, but I was certain it was something the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation had done. When my wife Jen got home, I told him that I couldn’t get through to the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation and that they may have either closed, or changed their cellphone number. Jen looked at the company card I was using and started laughing. Jen went to the refrigerator and took the magnet down, that every one of us had gotten from the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer. There was a modern address and cellphone number for our Heating and Air Conditioning dealer. I felt foolish, because I had forgotten every one of us had gotten the magnet. Jen called the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation and set up the appointment for the following morning, when Jen would be home. Although my wife hugged me and told me she loved me, I still felt like such an idiot. I couldn’t figure how I was able to miss the large magnet on the front of the refrigerator, announcing the modern address and cellphone number of the Heating and Air Conditioning dealership.
