This also means that all of us are the a singles that have to travel during the Christmas holidays, our families live way up north as well as they’re about many minutes apart, but the region all of us live in, all all of us need is a heat pump for the Wintertime as well as it doesn’t even come on all that much as well. This is the sort of Wintertime weather I enjoy, however and there is a reason all of us traded the gas furnace for the heat pump years ago! I just dislike the cold as well as the snow as well as the ice. So that also regularly leaves me with some mixed emotions when it’s time to travel to see both our families. I’m leaving perfect weather to go into really awful weather as well as a bunch of heating as well as air conditioning… And with heating, both moms keep their respective houses in the temperature control zone of a sauna. It’s just so freaking boiling in each of those houses. And if you are outside, it’s dangerously cold; however, as soon as I come inside, the temperature control setting is so high I want to stand around in our underwear. So, the ride home tends to be our favorite part. This year, due to a snowstorm, all of us had to take a detour mid trip. This took us along old highways as well as all of us were just creeping along. That definitely forced us to spend the night in a little roadside motel. The people I was with and I thought it might be sketchy however it turned out to be charming. Plus the whole place had an awesome central heating as well as air conditioning unit. The people I was with and I were cozy boiling as well as it was just us so it was a delightful adventure.
