The conspicuous absence of a working a/c system
I always thought that the primary reason I go to a steakhouse is for the food.
Why would I love anything else? If I do not like the food that has been provided at a particular steakhouse, then I would never think to go back there.
I never genuinely guess about the atmosphere, or whether or not it’s temperature-controlled inside the building. Previously, I never used to guess about that but last Sunday night, Bo and I walked into our favorite Mexican steakhouse, as well as I was startled by something I would probably never notice. I was so used to opening those double doors as well as feeling the comforting whoosh of air-conditioned air clean over me. Instead, I was greeted with heat! It was hot inside, hotter than it was outside. The air was hot as well as stuffy. Me as well as Bo looked at each other as well as shrugged. We were both starving by this time, so Bo decided to follow through as well as get a table. Five minutes in, as all of us were waiting for our cold drinks, Bo was fanning herself with one of the menus as well as I felt a bead of sweat trickle-down our brows. When the waiter came with our drinks, I finally asked him what had happened to the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system, but he said it had been broken since breakfast, as well as no repairs would be able to be made until the next day! Needless to say, all of us enjoyed the very refreshing sodas a little more than all of us would have otherwise. Normally, me as well as Bo like to order a sizzling plate of fajitas, however all of us were particularly trying to suss out what would be more refreshing at this point. We ended up staying as well as eating food, however all of us never took for granted a/c in a steakhouse ever again!
