My school cafeteria was far too cold for us

I had a thoroughly enjoyable junior high as well as middle school experience.

I went to a pretty large school which had just under 4,000 students attending in grades 6th through 12th. The junior high as well as high and middle school buildings were without each other, however the cafeteria was shared by all. It was a very nice facility, as well as all of us legitimately had fine food provided to us most of the time. I assume that I grew up after the age of ”mystery meat” as well as square pizza days during which they served mini “pizzas” that were more fitting for army MREs than a school. My dad had attended the school before I did, as well as he’s the one that claims that the breakfast menu used to be horrible, however both me as well as our dad agree that the a/c in the cafeteria has always been very over the top. It is just plain cold in that cafeteria all the time! If you were unblessed enough to only find a seat that was directly below the air vents, you had to eat your breakfast in particularly hasty manner if it was hot. If you carried on a conversation for too long without eating, the a/c would expel something that was piping-hot a few moments before lukewarm, or even cold. During the freshman as well as sophomore years though, there was one upside to that cold a/c. Lunch time was right after PE during those many years! We couldn’t wait to get into the cafeteria as well as let the cool air clean over us after dripping with sweat buckets outside in the hot weather! Unluckily, during the winter, the cafeteria was almost just as cold, as if they did not use the heating components at all! Good thing that all of us did PE in the gym on most days that it was particularly cold!
