I am not cut out to fix HVAC systems
I cannot believe that I messed up my HVAC units trying to service them! I must be the worst handyman that has ever lived.
At the very least, it might be the shortest time any person ever dreamed of being a handyman.
I always considered myself to be the kind of person that could service things. I enjoyed tinkering with things when I was younger, and my dad even taught me how to service a few things. I haven’t used those skills in a few years, although I figured that it was honestly time to bust those skills out, which is why I decided to try to service my own central A/C. I have never fixed a central A/C before, although I have heard of people looking up videos online to learn how to service their A/Cs. I did manage to find some videos featuring my certain model, and I began trying to service my central A/C. I thought that things were going well. I replaced the part in my central A/C after an afternoon or multiple, and I was pumped! However, when I tried to turn my central A/C on, nothing happened. I replaced a few more parts, and I experienced the same thing. I eventually called an HVAC serviceman, and he told me that I messed up one of the most important parts of the central A/C, and it was going to cost me a lot of money. Instead of saving money, I ended up spending more than I usually do, and maybe I am not cut out to service HVAC units.
