The day at the springs was a lot of fun

During the summer months, the temperatures around here can be very hot and humid. The afternoon temperatures are always above ninety and the rain only causes more humidity to appear. I hate going outside unless I’m going to be enjoying cold water sports. It’s unbearably uncomfortable, especially when there is no break from the heat. I don’t have a swimming pool, but I live close to a natural spring. The temperature of the spring is 68 degrees throughout the entire year. During the summer months, the spring is very cool and refreshing. During the winter months, the waters of the spring are like a warm oasis against the 40 degree temperatures during the day. During winter months, you can find manatees feasting on sea grass. It is not uncommon to find swimmers in the springs during the summer and the winter months. A day at the springs is always a lot of fun, especially during the summer months. I prefer going to the spring when there is a lot of heat and humidity. I like to pack a lunch and drinks so I can hang out all day while the sun is out. I would rather spend all day in the spring than spend a fortune on air conditioning. It costs a fortune to air condition the house when it’s 100 degrees outside. It is much cheaper to turn off the machine and spend the day outdoors. I can easily save 50 or $60 each week just by shutting off the air conditioner during the afternoon hours and going swimming.
