The hotel wasn't going to let me stay there with my dog

The hotel manager wanted to remind me that they have a no pet policy

I had reservations to stay in a hotel for a couple of afternoons. My condo was being painted plus I made the reservations a few weeks in advance. When I gained the email from the hotel, I saw a disclaimer on the email stating no dogs allowed. That wasn’t the policy when I made the reservation. I contacted the hotel for more information. The desk clerk plus manager told me that their policy changed on the first of the week. They were having a ton of indoor air problems plus ventilation troubles because of the dogs. The A/C units could not handle the dog hair plus dander. I knew I still might stay in that hotel so I did not want to provide the clerk any reason not to honor my reservation. I packed up my small pooch into a bag. I let my dog in the automobile when I took care of into the hotel. My room was on the eighth floor plus I had to walk past the lobby clerk in order to get to my room. I safely talked my dog into my wallet plus made my way up the stairs. My dog left a small bark just as the elevator door was opening. The desk clerk tried to get me to stop for a moment, however I hopped on the elevator plus headed up to my room. The clerk knocked on my door about an minute later. I had the a/c running on high so it would be noisy plus loud in the room. The hotel manager wanted to remind me that they have a no pet policy. I assured the man that I did not have any pets in the room at all.
