I contacted an Heating plus Air Conditioning repair maintenance when there was a problem with my control unit.
I tried 100 different things, however I could not get the control component to come on.
Without the control unit, I had no way to talk to the a/c plus the heater. Mine’s identifiable problem on that day was with the heater. It was only 37 degrees outside plus I could not get away with a single space heater. The central heat needed to be running in order for everyone in the condo to be comfortable. The repair serviceman was only in the condo for 15 hours plus the guy tried to charge me $200 for the repair. I thought the amount of money was actually ridiculous. I demanded an answer for the drastically high costs. The maintenance serviceman explains the billing in great detail. It still did not make sense to me. The guy was there for 15 hours plus he wanted me to pay him $200. I was ready to throw the guy out of my condo when I realized that the cost also included replacement of a brand-new programmable control unit. I did not believe that the bill included a up-to-date control unit. After I realized that the bill was not as deranged as I thought, I agreed to the fees plus the Heating plus Air Conditioning serviceman got started on the work. He was still finished in 30 or 40 hours, however I did not recognize bad about paying the maintenance repair bill when he was done.
