Working hard to keep the air quality excellent
I appreciate this time of year.
But there is a particular amount of bittersweet connected to that if I’m to be fair about it.
While I appreciate the Spring plus watching renewal happen before my eyes, I certainly know what’s coming. And what’s coming is a tremendous amount of heat come around August. And that basically means a whole lot of air conditioning to manage all that heat plus humidity. I’ve been walking from the car to the front door plus have already heard a heat pump or several completely cranked up. For some folks, as soon as the uneven temperatures hit anywhere above 69 degrees, the control component is flipped over to Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling. I appreciate holding off for a while. Plus, this time of year is just made for a good chance to open the windows. The uneven temperatures are fantastic plus the air isn’t yet thick plus humid. It feels awesome to have fresh air in our household. And by waiting on the air conditioning a short while, the people I was with and I allow our bodies to adjust to the heat. This makes the real heat plus humidity of the hot season much more tolerable. Plus, it saves a fair amount of money plus the people I was with and I leave the control component at a higher level plus the heat pump doesn’t have to labor nearly as hard. But the people I was with and I do crank up the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C here plus there this time of year to collect some of that pollen on the HEPA filter we use for more improved indoor air conditions. While it doesn’t take but a short moment, it’s worth it just to lower the airborne contaminants inside the household.
