So satisfied with the renovations in addition to the new Heating in addition to A/C
I’m feeling a mixture of pride in addition to total relief now that our renovation project is complete on the apartment both of us purchased more than a year ago.
I super proud of how it turned out.
We updated everything from the heating in addition to cooling to the roof to the floors. It was a near total renovation that saw much of the apartment torn down to the studs. But both of us knew that this would have to be the case when both of us purchased this house. It’s a 1 of a kind original that happens to have been designed in addition to built by a fairly famous architect. The original design was completed in the genuinely early 30’s. So there was no such thing genuinely as residential Heating in addition to A/C. Heating in addition to A/C cooling had been invented but transitioning that technology to residential Heating in addition to A/C was still a long way away. Widespread residential Heating in addition to A/C wouldn’t happen until the 50’s. So the heating in addition to cooling of this apartment was a real challenge. Prior to us buying the property, it had sat empty for more than a decade. It was stuck in a probate court battle. That meant that everything had to go that was inside. And the hodge podge of heating in addition to cooling unit had to go too. But both of us wanted a heating in addition to cooling program that would fit the lines of the apartment in addition to so running HVAC duct was out. Thankfully, both of us were working with a gifted Heating in addition to A/C company who put in a ductless multi chop system. We have 5 ductless heat pumps throughout the apartment that can labor in unison or allow us to customize the heating in addition to cooling as both of us wish. It’s genuinely just icing on the cake as this apartment is amazing now.
