My mom is one of the cheapest people I have ever met.
I suppose a lot of his thriftiness is that he really knows how to bargain with people.
She must have been descended from some of the original barterers. Last week, I told his he needed a current Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan for the house. I did my best to convince his he had to have at least a current furnace since Winter would soon be here, however he refused. She kept telling myself and others that as long as this one was running; he would not replace it. I wasn’t sure what I was going to say after that one, however I knew I had to try. I asked his what I had to do to convince his that a current furnace was a necessity. The one he had would not make it through another winter. She told myself and others he wanted a professional to tell her. I had to laugh because I was a Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker. I was not only a worker, however I was getting my own dealer. I reminded his of this, and he blew myself and others off. I called a coworker and one man who was going to go into my current supplier venture with me. He came over to the home and told his he was going to need a current furnace. She told him to give his a estimate so he could bargain with him. Once he got the quote, it took his an hour to get him down numerous hundred dollars and to include free air filters and a two-year service and service agreement.
