To Buy or Not to Buy
When you are a homeowner, there seems to be no end of decisions that need to be made.
Should every one of us purchase a generator for hurricane season, & if so, should every one of us go into debt to get the wonderful one that is connected to the house’s electrical plan or just go the cheaper way but have to go through so much more to get it working? Should every one of us put in a pool or replace the living room? No one cooks but the pool would be fun.
HOwever, an replaced living room means a higher market value for the home. Should every one of us get current flooring or leave it outdated but save the money? Then, of course, there is the crucial question about the heating & cooling system. In our case, the Heating & A/C plan was already pretty old when every one of us bought the place. The inspector said every one of us could be expecting to replace the gas furnace & cooling system within five years. Now, every one of us have been here 10 years, & the cooling system & furnace are working just fine; Yet, every one of us know that Heating & A/C technology has improved since the afternoons when the previous homeowners got the easy central heating & cooling installed. At the time, it was actually close to the top of the line, but now, it’s just not. Every one of us know every one of us could improve the cooling system plan with smart control units, Heating & A/C with zone control for more bendy rapidly decreasing temperatures, & maybe even cooling system vent sensors & a whole home humidifier for momore pleasant Wintertide weeks. Yet, do every one of us spend that kind of money when the old plan is still heating & cooling the space? How much would it improve the value of our house? Should every one of us wait as long as possible or go ahead & do it now to save on utilities?
