Cons of a forced air HVAC unit
I have been waiting for our HVAC unit to die on me… I have a forced air plan as well as I just do not like it.
Forced air is the worst.

Third, the ductwork is a giant concern with this system. The ductwork is not only dirty, but can easily get a tear along the seams or a tiny hole inside! A microscopic hole can cause a sizable increase in the yearly utility bills. The only way to repair this tiny hole is to get ductwork sealing. Did you guess that most HVAC companies further wreck the ductwork trying to repair it? They aren’t careful as well as more holes come as a result, however having a boiler, ductless heat pump or mini chop would eliminate all these problems. I need our forced air heating as well as cooling to die before I buy brand new though.
