I had to buy a new house halfway across the country
I got a promotion a couple of months ago and so I had to find a new house halfway across the country.
I had been waiting and waiting on this promotion and so when it finally came through, I was super excited.
My family was happy for me too, even though they weren’t exactly thrilled that I was going to have to be moving so far away. I had to leave fairly quickly in order to start the new job, and so I didn’t have that much time to purchase a new place to live. As crazy as it sounds, I ended up buying a new home, sight unseen, from the internet. I used a specialized realtor who helps in situations like mine, and she was able to find the perfect house for me. I was most interested in the proximity of the house to the company I was going to work for. But after that, the most important thing to me was the type of heating and cooling system that the house had. The one that I ended up purchasing has radiant heated flooring throughout the house. Having radiant heated flooring has always been a dream of mine, and so when the realtor said that this house had it all over the house, I was sold. Then she said that the house also had a gas fireplace and a whole home air purification system. Both of those things were on my wish list and so I was thrilled to arrive at my new home and get settled in there.
