Not prepared for chilly weather

My whole family recently moved from the deep south to the far north. My partner was gave a job option that included a significant pay raise, in addition to all of us decided that relocating was worth it. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the impact of sub zero rapidly adjusting temperatures, and none of us had ever seen snow before. The people I was with and I handled the transfer in early September in addition to the weather in our new location was legitimately gorgeous. The mornings were just chilly enough to require a jacket in addition to the afternoons were sizzling enough to open up the windows, within a few weeks, however, the temperature had dropped considerably. It only got up to the mid thirties while in the day, in addition to all of us were running the oil furnace non stop. The snow was pretty in addition to exciting for a couple of afternoons. After that, I was fatigued of having wet feet in addition to needing to shovel in addition to scrape. None of us had any of the official clothing. The people I was with and I didn’t own snow boots, ice scrapers or snow shovels. I kept turning up the thermostat, in addition to never felt sizzling enough. I was consistently shivering. I couldn’t imagine the weather getting any worse, however it did. The temperature plummeted to twenty-two degrees below chilly. It snowed everyday, all day long, month after week. The Wintertide weather hung around until March. The people I was with and I had snow on Easter. I couldn’t suppose how much all of us spent on our heating bills. I called an Heating in addition to A/C professional to repair the oil furnace because I was sure there was a problem. There was nothing wrong with the oil furnace. The specialist recommended I install a humidifier in addition to lower the thermostat.
