A rather sketchy landlord

I’ve been renting for a very long time at this point.

I started in an apartment, but realized that I didn’t care about the new home lifestyle.

I didn’t like having neighbors pressed up against our walls and I didn’t care about not having a garage either. I didn’t have the cash at the time to buy a new home of our own, but I didn’t want to live in a new home anymore. When a friend of mine told me about a small new home he saw that was for rent, I jumped at the opening to go look at it. I contacted the owner and he let me come stroll around the new home while he told me the biweekly rent price along with what was and what was not included. I signed the lease right there! After living here for about five weeks, I can actually say that it’s so much better than being in a new home complex. I care about having a garage and private walls, but there’s one thing that’s been an issue. When our Heating and Air Conditioning system needed servicing, I called the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer and made an appointment, because I was in charge of paying the biweekly utility costs. When the Heating and Air Conditioning professional showed up, he asked me if I was the homeowner and I stupidly said no, but although I live here, I don’t own the home; Because of this, the Heating and Air Conditioning professional told me that he couldn’t touch the Heating and Air Conditioning system until he contacted the owner of the home; He called our property owner three straight times and got no response, so he had to leave, however even I haven’t been able to get a hold of him! I’m so frustrated, because I want the Heating and Air Conditioning method to be run tests on since I’m the one paying for the utility fees.
