The landlord had to pay for the HVAC system repairs
I ended up getting the cheapest air filters I could find and hoped that they would be alright
I’ve never really been skilled when it comes to anything. So when I eventually got a place to live on my own after I moved out of my parents’ house, I was in for a difficult time. I suddenly had to learn how to keep up with everything around the house. I had to clean up the bathroom regularly, do the laundry, dust and vacuum. These were things that my mother used to always do, but now it was all up to me. Those things weren’t even so difficult though to be honest. The things that really upset me was when there were issues with the plumbing or the HVAC system. I called the HVAC right away whenever I had any issues like this. When I first was having issues with the HVAC system, the landlord asked me if I changed the air filter to the HVAC unit. Because I didn’t do that, I apologized and made sure to get right on that air filter change. Unfortunately, I didn’t know anything about changing air filters or how important they are for the HVAC system. I ended up getting the cheapest air filters I could find and hoped that they would be alright. When I subsequently had issues with the HVAC unit, I said I was changing the air filters regularly. When the landlord had an HVAC technician come over, he was saying how the HVAC unit was having issues because of the cheap air filters I was using and the ductwork system needed to be cleaned. I didn’t feel it was my fault because nobody told me what air filters to use, but the landlord had to pay for the HVAC system repairs anyway.
