College Dorms Renovated to Join the 21st Century

I live in a city that is known as a “university town.” No matter where you look in our little city, you will see stuff that is designed to attract to university students.

Every one of us have numerous universities in our city, and all of us have a pretty good community university, as well.

Every one of us even have a technical university that has a good reputation! Over the past multiple years or so, there has been a sizable burst in student housing construction – and I am talking pretty luxurious living is to be had in these locations. The housing communities have swimming pools with heaters, weight rooms, free laptops, all kinds of food arrangements, and even services where they will send beach home cards for residents’ families anniversarys, mother’s afternoon, and the like. The best thing I know they have, though, is current and efficient heating and cooling, however parents have to pay for utilities, and everyone knows that air conditioner and heating is what makes those electric bills skyrocket. Because of these appealing residences, the university has had to face some realities. No a single wants to live in their musty old dorms. There are a few dorm buildings that don’t even have air conditioner! That is hard to believe, I know, and some smart guy at the university finally decided it is time to replace the dorm buildings and put in not only good flooring and furnishings, but also efficient and top-notch heating and cooling options. The afternoons of the mythical starving student are over; most students live better than I do, and they are demanding that Heating and Air Conditioning technology keep up with their active and luxurious lifestyles.
