Unfortunately the A/C in the truck was not working well
All of us had to pull over at a rest stop to have a look at the truck… Luckily, Dave happens to be an expert mechanic
My friends and I scored some free tickets to see our favorite baseball team in the playoffs! The radio station was doing a contest and I was calling every single afternoon to win. It took a whole week, however I finally got through to the DJ on the 5th afternoon. I acquired a bunch of tickets to the playoff game which was going to be a few days later. When I told my friends about the ticket, they were super excited. Then my pal Dave said he would drive us to the game. He has a massive truck that can seat 6 people. It doesn’t get wonderful gas mileage, however it is extremely comfortable and luxurious. The truck even has a sunroof. I was cheerful that he offered to drive, because my car is small and compact. All of us would not have been very comfortable taking the trip in my tiny Chevy. On the afternoon of our game, all of us left early. All of us planned to stop for supper and all of us planned to get a hotel room before the game got started! Unluckily, all of us did not have time for either of these things. On our way to the game, the AC equipment in Dave’s truck stopped working altogether. Dave had the AC equipment on high, however all of us couldn’t actually feel cold air. The fan wasn’t blowing hard and the truck was starting to get tremendously hot. All of us had to pull over at a rest stop to have a look at the truck… Luckily, Dave happens to be an expert mechanic. Dave couldn’t take care of the AC setback, but he did bypass the system so the truck wouldn’t continue to heat up. All of us managed to make it to the game on time, however most of the trip was entirely too warm.
