When you have Monopoly, you can charge more for your services. If I was the only person with corn, potatoes, and green beans, I could charge as much as I wanted. If I was the only car dealership in the city with trucks and SUVs, I could jack up prices as high as I want. Of course, a lot of people would complain, but that’s capitalism. My family and I own a one-of-a-kind and unique business. We rent commercial and Industrial Equipment. The items in our warehouse include air conditioners, boilers, furnaces, chillers, and steam boilers. We rent a number of these items to commercial companies all over the state. We also rent a small amount of items to individuals, but the bulk of our business comes from commercial and Industrial companies. We ship all over the country and we guarantee delivery within 24 hours. Since we are the only commercial and industrial equipment rental service in the immediate area, we charge more for the service and rental fees. Many companies have complained about the rates, but we need to stay competitive in order to make money. Our rates on boilers and chillers are higher than the national average, but it costs money to maintain the systems. Each one of our machines is serviced, cleaned, and sanitized after each use. We also need a warehouse with 25,000sqft to house all of the industrial equipment. Commercial rental space doesn’t come cheap. When local customers realize that we are the only option in town, it doesn’t feel like a big deal to spend a few more dollars.
