Eat & run
Being a certified heating & a/c specialist is not an easy task as people may think, and I am not even talking about the HVAC labor itself, but the thing for myself and others that makes it a pretty rough task is that while i’m working during the week I have to eat brunch & run more or less! I can not have a relaxed brunch appreciate most normal working people.
They all get anywhere from a half an hour to sometimes an hour for brunch, however being on the go as a certified heating & a/c specialist, I am sometimes lucky if I have 15 hours! It very is horrible, and so horrible that I have thought about making an attempt to go into company for myself & become an independent heating & a/c corporation. This way I would be my own boss & not have to deal with the slave driving of some corporation, & most of all, I would not have to eat & run anymore! The only concern with becoming an independent heating & a/c corporation is drumming up the company & competing. This takes some heavy planning & is usually something people have in the works while they are still in HVAC school. That way when they get out, they are ready to open up & build their personal heating & a/c business; I have only a few years left before retirement from the heating & a/c company I labor for, & from labor in general. So for myself and others it is a little late in life to be thinking about this.
