High velocity heating & cooling provides whole-house temperature control

When our fiance & I first obtained our home, the former owners were heating with space heating systems & cooling with portable window units; One of our first priorities was to invest in centralized temperature control. I honestly hated the appearance of the portable heating & cooling units. They weren’t powerful enough to keep up with demand & definitely weren’t all that energy efficient. However, our home is around several hundred years seasoned & lacks conventional HVAC duct. The walls & ceilings are still the original plaster & the interior studs have been turned sideways to maximize residing space. There’s not enough room to accommodate traditional HVAC duct. Trying to install a conventional heating & cooling method would have resulted in a important mess, lengthy project & enormous expense. We needed to find a more adaptable alternative for our home. I brought in a licensed Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to look over the cabin & deliver recommendations. He instantly commanded a high velocity heating & cooling system. This type of method was designed particular ly to retrofit into older homes without causing major disruption or injure. It uses stretchy mini ducts that are only many inches in diameter & can be snaked through existing walls & accommodate obstacles such as plumbing pipes & electrical outlets. The ducts affix to vents that are only multiple inches in diameter. The actual heating/cooling unit is appealingly compact & can be installed in the attic. The method works through a process of aspiration, introducing the conditioned air at a high rate of speed & creating a gentle suction. This allows it to raise or lower room temperature honestly hastily. The high velocity heating & cooling method has been ideal for us.
