During the tune up, it’s important that the HVAC technician test all of the electrical connections and ensure that the mechanical systems are working properly. They should make sure that the thermostat is working and registering the right temperature. The AC technician should check the refrigerant levels inside of the air conditioner. The condenser, evaporator coils, and condenser lines should all be examined and cleaned. During the tune up, the HVAC technician should apply lubricant to all of the moving parts and replace any worn parts that may break in the immediate future.
