Honestly, it will be much easier to just replace the air conditioner in your window.
Unless you brought the world’s most expensive window air conditioner, I would strongly recommend replacing your window air conditioner. I know how you feel. When your window air conditioner stops working, the first thing that you want to do is cry. Nobody wants to have to replace a window air conditioner. You probably cannot easily afford to buy another window air conditioner. Your lack of money is probably the reason that you have a window air conditioner in the first place. However, if you are thinking about fixing your window air conditioner, I would strongly advise against it. I tried to fix my window air conditioner too, and it was very frustrating. I didn’t want to spend the money buying a new window air conditioner. I tried to take my window air conditioner apart to fix it. What I didn’t realize is that there are not a lot of resources to guide you through fixing your window air conditioner. Also, it isn’t easy figuring out the problem, and when you do, it isn’t easy to order parts for a window air conditioner. I wasted weeks trying to fix my window air conditioner, and I ended up having to buy a new window air conditioner anyway. I would definitely not recommend trying to fix your own window air conditioner. It would be easier to do anything else, and the frustration is definitely not worth it.
