Air purification methods that I use

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, I have had a lot of people asking about indoor air quality and whole apartment air purification.

Since I work at a apartment comfort business, I get a lot of questions like this.

I figured it might be helpful to post some of my top air quality solutions for all the people to study here. Of course, I have other air quality improvement recommendations, but this might be a nice place to start. First and foremost- and as I’m sure you’ve heard before- I propose getting a strong air filter. You entirely use MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) air filters (this is the a single people properly use at home). MERV air filters are nothing to sneeze at (no pun intended). MERV air filters do a superb task and also maintain simple airflow. However, at this time, it might be worth sacrificing air flow for indoor air quality. This can be done by switching out those MERV air filters with HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Absorbing) air filters. I also propose using the portable media UV air purifiers around the apartment to help keep the indoor air quality standards up. You should also reach out to your Heating and Air Conditioning provider (or indoor air quality business) to see about getting your ductwork cleaned. Your ductwork is where viruses (among other yucky things) live in your home. Because of this, I propose a ductwork cleaning before either of the other several recommendations. If you have more questions, please reach out to me. I have plenty of other tips and tricks to keep your regular of indoor air quality high. Also, if you have any nice recommendations, please let myself and others know!
