I never dreamed in a million years that I would end up winning the raffle

I won a raffle for an HVAC company last fall, and I still can’t believe it. People in my family are notoriously unlucky. we never win anything. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember ever even winning at a board game among my friends! I guess you could say that I have been destined to lose for my whole life when it comes to things like that. I never win games, raffles, or drawings. A lot of times I’ll buy tickets for things like that for the community just so I can donate money and be a proactive member of our neighborhood. That’s what happened to me last summer when I bought a ticket for a raffle for an HVAC company. The HVAC company was raising money for the baseball team that they sponsored. When I went by their booth at our local farmers market, I decided that I was going to buy a ticket just to be supportive. I never dreamed in a million years that I would end up winning the raffle. However, a couple of weeks after I bought the raffle ticket, I got a call and they said that it was the owner of the local heating and cooling company. I thought it was weird that I was getting a call from them, but then he told me that I had won a brand new high efficiency heating and cooling system! Not only that, but they were going to come and install it for me too. I do not think that I have ever been more surprised in my entire life than I was that day.
