Avery was planning to go visit his parents this coming summer. However, there was still work to be done before departure day. It’s been almost a year since the last time Avery was home to see her mom, Mom and younger sibling. They do talk on the phone every day, but it’s not the same as being there. So, he made sure to take time off to be there for his dad’s 62nd anniversary. The plan was to fly home, and have a friend pick her up instead of her younger sibling. This was going to be a surprise. A family member wouldn’t manage to keep such a secret. But, as he mentioned, she’d have to finish labor at the office before it was time to leave. Avery also wanted to handle a few matters at home including servicing her air conditioning. The last time Avery had someone inspect the HVAC was the previous spring. This is a routine she’s become accustomed to since he first bought his home. The worker who came to install a new system insisted on regular maintenance. It was the best way to ensure the heating and cooling component has a longer lifespan. This time, Avery wanted the HVAC worker to also add a HEPA filter to his cooling unit. She’d learn up on HEPA filters and knew this would be excellent for his indoor air quality. The Heating plus A/C worker was tied up to come and do service which includes replacing the outdated air filter.
