I hope things get better around our area
Things around this place have changed in the last few years plus one of the reasons is due to the drought.
There genuinely was never a lot of rainfall in this space in the past, however now there is less than an inch every year.
The lack of rain has caused a huge amount of troubles in the environment. There is a pretty large lake close to my residence plus the water has been receding for years. The drought has not helped much at all, however as the water evaporates, all of the pollutants plus contaminants from the bottom of the lake are totally exposed. These pollutants plus contaminants are from farmers that use harmful pesticides to treat their crops… Fifty years ago, nobody cared if the farmers dumped the pesticides in the water, but now we totally understand the effects those harmful chemicals can have on the water plus all of the animals plus our environment. The pollutants plus contaminants are basically exposed to the air plus they are undoubtedly dry. The heavy winds kick up all of these pollutants. Both of my children have experienced allergy reactions when going outside to play. It’s taxing to keep the kids inside of the residence, however right now it’s not safe for them to play outdoors. I had to buy a couple of air purifiers for the house. I wrote a letter to my congressperson about the safety troubles, however they only made a simple offer to pay for the air purifiers that my family needed. They didn’t offer any solution. The powerful air purifiers plus the cost to run them are the least of my concern. I’m bothered about the safety plus welfare of my family plus everyone in our area.
