A happy ever after initiated by the HVAC business
After their encounter, Paul did not see her again until a year later
Paul had been in the HVAC business since he was twenty-one, and thanks to that line of work, he met the lady who later became his wife. Back then, he worked as an HVAC repairman for a local HVAC provider. Francesca, his now wife, had contacted them in search of a quality HVAC. Her parents had tasked her with finding an HVAC unit with the new HVAC technology at the time. Every HVAC professional was out on an HVAC installation job, and Paul was the only one in a position to attend to her. He started by introducing several HVAC brands, but Francesca had already decided on one. To his surprise, she knew quite a bit about HVAC systems and was impressed by her choice of the new HVAC equipment and, more so, the reason for her selection. When Paul saw that Francesca was knowledgeable on the subject, he wondered why Francesca still did not look convinced. She admitted that she was having trouble deciding whether they should replace their analog temperature regulator even though it was not faulty. My father, a young twenty-six-year-old man, took it as his cue to impress her by telling her all about the programmable thermostat and how it would be beneficial to them and help with indoor comfort. After their encounter, Paul did not see her again until a year later. When he met again, it was during an HVAC maintenance at what he learned was her parents. They forged a friendship that later developed into courtship from that moment. It has now been twenty-five years of marriage and the rest, as they say, is history.
