Not knowing how to work a smart thermostat

Periodically, problems can be caused by the smallest of issues.

The trouble is, it’s not always obvious that the issue is a minor one that requires a quick and straightforward fix. I was recently quite upset after receiving a brand new temperature control system installed in our new home. Well, it wasn’t a brand new condo. In fact, the prior temperature control system in the condo needed to be entirely replaced, as it had been in repair for over 10 years. It had not been well-maintained by the previous renter either… Getting a new temperature control system was a priority before moving in, as well as I paid a lot of cash for a particularly nice model. Trouble was, all of the sudden, it stopped particularly working the way that it should have just a few weeks after moving in. The heat simply was not turning on, when I had programmed it to kick on. It’s the middle of December, so a real chill sets in just after dark. The thermostat for our temperature control system is programmable, so I thought that I had set it to go up to 73 degrees at 8 p.m. Later on, I climbed out of my bed to go to the lavatory in the middle of the evening, only to discover that it was freezing cold as well as the furnace wasn’t on at all! I sad that our brand new heating system had already broken, as well as I was fuming. I called the supplier that installed it, so they came the next day. Long story short, I simply did not understand how our own smart thermostat worked. I did not bother to spend money and attention to the instruction manual, as well as so I paid for the service tech to help me understand what I could have already study on our own!
