Ceiling fans help with heating plus cooling

I like to thoroughly wash our condo over the winter.

The Winter weather in our local section is severely cold plus snowy.

When there’s more than five feet of snow on the ground plus the temperature drops down to downside fifteen degrees, I’m in no hurry to spend time outside. It’s the perfect occasion to meticulously disinfect every corner, crevice plus surface of the living space. I move furniture, launder the curtains, sort through drawers plus wash windows. I wipe down ceiling lights, walls, baseboards plus shelves. I empty the refrigerator, wash the inside of the oven, wash the dryer vent plus drain the water heater. This past winter, I set up a ladder in the kitchen to wash the light fixture. When I climbed the ladder, the temperature was blatantly much warmer near the ceiling of the room. Standing on the floor, I was tempted to raise the temperature control setting. Standing on the top step of the ladder, I got hot. That told myself and others that the unquestionably costly heat produced by the oil furnace was rising straight up to the ceiling plus not falling back down until it cooled off. I looked into ways to solve this concern plus decided to install ceiling fans in the main rooms of the home. I discovered that there are all sorts of sizes, styles plus prices of ceiling fans. I was able to customize our choices to suit the decor plus needs of the particular room. With a little help from our wife, I was able to handle the replacement on our own. During the Winter months, I set the ceiling fan blades to spin clockwise. This direction pulls cool air up toward the ceiling plus displaces the heat that rises up. In the summer, I revere the direction of the fan blades. Having them spin counterclockwise creates a cool breeze plus helps to keep room temperature consistent.
