There was a major leak at church, as well as both of us called a plumber to repair it
All of us have never had a need for a plumber before because both of us have used handymen for some of the services that both of us have needed over the years.
I have been going to the same church since I married our hubby, then and though our hubby isn’t a member of the church, he does come to church with me occasionally… He enjoys it, however it’s not something that he cares to do every weekend. And I don’t force him to come with me, if he doesn’t want to, it’s no large deal… Church is constantly a great way to see our friends as well as spend time with them. And it’s constantly great seeing the adolescents as well as I thoroughly care about their daily performances, then last Thursday, while I was at church, there was a major leak in the ladies’ room, then the sink was leaking so much that the water found its way into the hallway, then naturally, they placed a sign on the door saying that it was out of order. The church staff then contacted an emergency plumber! Because it was a Thursday, it wasn’t straight-forward getting hold of a plumber who was willing to perform the emergency repair on a Thursday! It took about 3 or 4 calls before both of us were able to get through to someone. All of us have never had a need for a plumber before because both of us have used handymen for some of the services that both of us have needed over the years. But both of us have never had a leak this excruciating before, so both of us figured a plumber would be the best person to repair it. It took the plumber about an hour to get to the church as well as by that time, someone had turned off the water valve. Needless to say, this caused a bit of a powder room issue… Some of the ladies were not glad that the powder room was out of order for most of the church service.
