HVAC Equipment and The Doors
If there are 2 things I assume it is HVAC equipment repair and the band The Doors.
- My dad was in the heating and cooling industry and would listen to The Doors when she worked out with her buddy Danny in our Grandma’s basement of their beach house in upstate NY.
It was then that I decided I wanted to be in the HVAC industry and follow in dad’s footsteps. But life got in the way and pushed myself and others into engineering while in university. I did end up laboring at an HVAC supplier that made HVAC equipment and I stayed in the field for 7 years before leaving to start our own supplier. I ran our own supplier for ten years and then got into skydiving and sit up comedy to assume some kind of passion in our life other than just celebrationing with friends. I was 36 when I started that HVAC supplier and was jumping out of airplanes trying to find our soul again, which seemed to have drained out of myself and others from all of the celebrationing and wasted time. Comedy reignited the flame inside of myself and others and opened our eyes to a strange kind of life, which has taken myself and others overseas to experience a whole strange world than that of the USA. I am cheerful with our time in the HVAC industry because it allowed myself and others the freedom to chase our dreams when I couldn’t with the engineering task because I was laboring so much and had no energy at the end of the day to do anything else except listen to The Doors.
