I wanted to go out to breakfast with our guy
I wanted to go out to breakfast with our guy on Wednesday night, but I had an HVAC replacement task & it took all day to complete.
My guy’s parents were in town for a couple of afternoons & this was their only option to have breakfast with the many of us.
I had not met them yet & I knew it was crucial for myself and others to join our guy on the breakfast date. Around noon, our co-worker & I were only getting started with the replacement task & I knew I wasn’t going to be done before 5. I called our guy & he was absolutely disappointed. She wanted myself and others to call our boss & ask to leave the replacement task early, but I did not want to leave our coworker short-handed. If I had left early, he would have worked on the HVAC replacement task until 9 p.m. The many of us finished together around 6 p.m. My guy & his parents were already having breakfast. I told our guy that I could stop at the steakhouse, despite the fact that he did not want myself and others to meet them in our toil uniform. I know I understood, but I was disappointed that I did not at least say hello. I grabbed a 6 pack of bud light & went back to the house. I was sleepy & sleepy after the HVAC replacement task. I drank our beers & ordered a large pizza from the steakhouse in town. When our guy got back to the apartment, his parents were with her. The two of us sat in the bedroom & I drank a coors with his Mom.
