Installing a security system for my mother
My mother recently turned 73 years old, but he remains entirely active plus independent.
She has no trouble driving herself wherever he needs to go.
She mows plus rakes his grass, weeds the gardens plus handles all of the household responsibilities; Despite his fantastic health, I worry about his living alone! I make sure to call his every day plus I usually stop in for a visit, but that isn’t enough! Last year, for Mother’s Day, I invested in a security system for his house, but the security system includes motion-activated lighting, surveillance cameras, door locks, glass breakage sensors, smoke detectors plus an alarm… Whenever someone enters the house, it’s necessary to punch in the security code. If the wrong or no code is gave, the alarm sounds plus my mother plus I both get alerted. If all of us fail to provide the password, the local authorities are notified. For the first numerous months after the security system was set up, my mother tripped the alarm numerous times. It took his a while to get used to the code, however now that she’s usual with the operation of the security system, he actually appreciates it. She appreciates that a chime sounds whenever someone pulls into the driveway. She just loves seeing the footage from the security cameras on his PC. She’s started feeding the city stray cats, plus he watched them eat from the dish. I love that there’s a panic button. If there’s an emergency, he can just hit that yellow button to get help. The security system has given both my mother plus I peace of mind.
