The daily report

I just got a new job working in the offices of a heating and air conditioning company here in town.

My job here at this heating and air conditioning company is to take care of all accounting and payroll, but also to draw up a sheet containing a daily report of everything that has sold and every single HVAC appointment that was performed by their certified heating and air conditioning specialists.

This daily report is a lot of work let me tell you. But with the help of computers, I can get the information I need pretty easily. I have to write down if any central heating and air conditioning systems were sold, and if so, were we taking care of the HVAC installation or were they hiring someone else to do that. Then there was the general stuff as in how many certified heating and cooling specialists went out on jobs for the day, how they addressed the issue and if the issue was fixed, how much the customer paid and if the HVAC specialist needs to go back again another day. Like I said, it is pretty detailed and complex. I had worked for another heating and air conditioning company a few years ago in their business offices and I never had to do anything like this. So by doing these daily reports it helps the heat and a/c company keep track of things and keep their HVAC business running very smoothly. I totally understand it. I just wish my pay was a bit better because of this extra hard task I have to do.
