Why I always travel with a space furnace when I can

I have a newborn baby and he is the light of our life… I couldn’t get pregnant for about more than three years and I had just about given up, a few weeks after I accepted defeat, I found out that I was pregnant with our first child.

I did everything to protect him while I was in pregnancy, and now that he is Earth-side, I still do everything I can to protect our little scarce miracle, but for example, because he was born prematurely, he is absolutely sensitive to certain temperatures; He has a condition that can worsen if his body temperature gets too chilly for too long.

In tplot mom fashion, I decided to carry a small portable space furnace with me wherever every one of us go so that if an emergency strikes, I am prepared to boiling him up, but this absolutely came in handy when every one of us decided to go on our first trip to a hotel with him and the furnace in our room broke. It was the middle of Winter and every one of us were traveling down South to see our parents for the holidays when every one of us dealt with the furnace dilemma. The two of us were fast asleep in the hotel room when I woke up to the sound of him crying, and I instantly felt cold. I inspected the furnace and it was completely turned off, so I called the front desk to have someone come and repair it. I pulled out the space furnace in the meantime to boiling up our baby, and I held him in a blanket to help gently rock him back to sleep. It was truthfully pretty traumatic for all of us, even though I was so thrilled to have the furnace fixed. Having the space furnace handy is absolutely helpful for us, even though I understand that it’s not for everyone.
