If only we had radiant heated flooring installed.

My husband and I had only one more major project to finish in our home. We were proud of the work we had done so far, but now was another great project. We were planning on taking up all the old carpeting, all the crumbled tiles and the linoleum. We were going to install brick and hardwood throughout the house. We were already planning on installing new cabinets in the kitchen, but before we could do that, we wanted to have the brick laid on the floor. I had read that brick and hardwood were the best type of flooring for radiant heated flooring. I saw where we could buy the proper type of heating system for radiant heated flooring at the hardware store. It was supposed to be easy to install and it worked well. I liked the idea of radiant heated flooring. The heat was always on the floor and it didn’t have the opportunity to rise up to the ceiling before it heated the room. There were no cold spots in the room. I told my husband that I would love to get another source of heating so I could have radiant heated flooring. We had already spent so much money on the remodelling project that he couldn’t justify buying an alternative heating method so we could have radiant heated flooring. I wasn’t happy, but I understood where he was coming from. I put off installing the brick in the kitchen, hoping I would be able to talk him into the radiant heated flooring idea, but I wasn’t sure it was going to happen.
