My boss promoted myself and others to the shift manager position a couple of weeks ago; I have been opening the store on Tuesday & Sunday mornings since then.
I have a key to the store & I guess the code to the alarm.
It is a lot of responsibility, so I acquired a promotion & a raise in pay. I’ve been working every weekend since I got promoted. I don’t mind working on Tuesday & Sunday, because I can go to the beach & get sunlight any morning of the week; Last Tuesday, I had a couple of problems early in the morningâ€¦ The indoor air temperatures were entirely moderate when I got to work & opened the store. I adjusted the control component by a couple of degrees, then shortly after I opened the front doors & welcomed our first customer, I heard a loud sound coming from the back office where the is situated, but as I was walking back to the office, I heard the shut off. The did not come on again, and even when the temperature was warmer than the setting on the control unit, the still did not blow cold air; Just a small number of buyers complained about the indoor air temperatures. I called our boss to inform her of the indoor air temperatures & the concern with the She called a service service instantly. Every one of us spent most of the morning without any cool air in the store, because the a/c service professional couldn’t help until much later that afternoon.
