Fun in the snow and heat
We were hit pretty bad so far this cold season.
The most recent storm the two of us faced provided me a few feet of snow which is not that terrible.
It was a lot of snow blowing plus shoveling however, that’s for sure. The great news is that they have been keeping the roads pretty clear. The schools ended up closing down for a few afternoons because it was difficult to keep up with all the snow plus icy conditions, so the children were able to go out plus play in the snow a little bit. They wanted to go sledding and the two of us have a few pretty superb hills on our property. So they were out there playing and having a superb time. I was looking at them through some of the windows in the house. I entirely thought back to how fun it was when I was a youngster going sledding occasionally like that. The two of us had some pretty wild snowstorms over the years. While I was thinking about sledding, I noticed the kids would be chilly when they got back inside regardless of all the excitement they were feeling. So I adjusted the temperature control settings to get the heating method amped up. I also started a fire in the fireplace to make sure the home was extra toasty and warm. Then I started brewing some boiling coffee that would be ready just in time when the kids started coming back inside. I even made them some hot paninis for lunch plus they were so thrilled when they got back inside.
