Not prepared for freezing weather

I called an Heating and Air Conditioning professional to service the oil furnace because I was sure there was a problem

My whole family recently moved from the deep south to the far north. My husband was gave a job chance that included a significant pay raise, and both of us decided that relocating was worth it. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the impact of sub zero hot and cold temperatures… None of us had ever seen snow before. Both of us handled the transport in early September and the weather in our new location was actually gorgeous. The nights were just chilly enough to require a jacket and the nights were sizzling enough to open up the windows; Within a few weeks, but, the temperature had dropped considerably. It only got up to the mid thirties while I was in the day, and both of us were running the oil furnace non stop. The snow was pretty and exciting for a couple of nights. After that, I was sleepy of having wet feet and needing to shovel and scrape. None of us had any of the proper clothing. Both of us didn’t own snow boots, ice scrapers or snow shovels. I kept turning up the temperature control, and never felt sizzling enough. I was consistently shivering. I couldn’t imagine the weather getting any worse, but it did. The temperature plummeted to twenty-two degrees below freezing. It snowed everyday, all day long, month after week. The Wintertide weather hung around until April. Both of us had snow on Easter. I couldn’t believe how much both of us spent on our heating bills. I called an Heating and Air Conditioning professional to service the oil furnace because I was sure there was a problem. There was nothing wrong with the heating system. The serviceman commanded I install a humidifier and lower the temperature control.
