When we went on vacation, we found something great
Obviously the weather was going to be colder up there but we didn’t really realize just how much colder it would be.
We went on a family vacation back in the fall and we found out that we really loved the type of heating system that they had installed in the cabin that we stayed in. We hadn’t been on a vacation in a long time and we were pretty excited to get out of the house and away on a trip with each other. The weather was really cooling off at that point and even though we hadn’t planned on having really cold weather, we decided that we were going to try and enjoy the trip anyway. We knew that we were going to have some trouble heating up once we got there because we hadn’t really packed any cold weather clothes. We were coming from the southern part of the country and the cabin that we were staying in was in the northern part of the country. Obviously the weather was going to be colder up there but we didn’t really realize just how much colder it would be. We just noticed that the closer we got to the cabin, the more we would have to turn the thermostat up in our van! By the time we got there, it was actually snowing. We thought that we were going to be cold and miserable in the cabin, but it turned out that we were exactly the opposite. Not only did our rental cabin have a beautiful wood burning fireplace, but it also had radiant heated flooring throughout the entire place! Up until then, we didn’t even know what radiant heated flooring was, but it was amazing.
