I keep things simple, HVAC plan included
Everyone here knows me likes to make fun of me.
I understand, it’s fun to joke with all of your friends.
However, there are times when some of their comments start to get under my skin. This is particularly true when my friends and family are calling me a cheapskate. Don’t get me wrong, I like to save a buck wherever it’s possible. I will always admit that I am a thrifty human being and I like to keep things extremely simple in my life. I don’t know why any of this is offensive to anybody else… But apparently my indoor air quality is. You see, most of the harassment started when my friends and family were disappointed by my Indoor air temperature control system. We were having a small get-together for the holidays when everybody began commenting on my uneven temperature throughout the house. Apparently, there were hot and cold patches in every room, drafts, and fluctuating temperatures throughout. Personally, I never have noticed these are quality issues. I have always been happy and comfortable using my heating, cooling, and ventilation system. But I seem to be the only one. Things really got personal, as they began recommending local HVAC repair shops. At a certain point, I gave in and started humoring their heating and cooling recommendations. I mean, maybe they have a point about getting central heating, cooling, and air quality control…. It does get difficult operating space heaters and window AC units throughout the entire house all year, instead of using a central HVAC. Maybe my life hasn’t been that simple, afterall.
