It was sad that we had to cancel our ski vacation due to COVID
My boyfriend plus I were supposed to go out of the city for his birthday, the people I was with and I had a whole week of events planned.
The people I was with and I were going to a ski lodge so the people I was with and I could practice snowboarding plus skiing.
The people I was with and I were going to a winery that grows winter grapes. The people I was with and I were going to see a concert in the city or maybe even visit a dinner theater. The people I was with and I were really going to see some friends from school that live near the ski lodge… My boyfriend was especially gleeful because I rented a room with an actual fireplace. The people I was with and I actually thought that the Covid problem would be over since our reservations were several months in the future, but unluckily, the people I was with and I had to cancel our plans… But, I still wanted the weekend to be special even though the people I was with and I had to spend it at home. I decided to surprise my boyfriend with a wall fireplace. I looked around for a lot of strange models plus I found a unit at the hardware store that I could option up outside. The wall fireplace fit perfectly in the corner of our kitchen. I had to move some furniture around, however after I was done, the fireplace looked as if it was an aspect of the original decor. And when my boyfriend came back to the house from work plus saw the fireplace, he burst into tears; he was crying plus laughing plus he was entirely blissful. He was surprised by my thoughtful plus generous gift. The people I was with and I had an amazing weekend at the house by the fireplace. My boyfriend plus I would have enjoyed going to the ski lodge, however this was something special too.
